Nerdlike.com Reviews Cyber Clean From E3 7-29-2010

Welcome Back to the Cyberclean Blog!

Cyber Clean made their showing at this years E3 with a large showspace in the West Hall, giving gamers and office mates alike a way to clean their equipment with ease. Known as the the high tech cleaning compound, the putty claims to deep clean any surface it touches, including the harmful dust and dirt that resides in the cracks of your keyboard.

Computers aren’t the only thing this stuff cleans, I have used it around the house on my iPhone, t.v. trays and some of my kids’ toys. The cool part about this stuff is that while you are using it, the anti-bacterial magic inside of the putty keeps your hands clean as well.

Coming in a few different size options, Cyber Clean is reusable and lets you know when it’s time to re-up. When the coloring moves from bright yellow to dull green, its time to replace the goo.  Check for Cyber Cleanonline, starting at $6.

Clean Tech Gadgets with Cyber Clean and CrispView

Welcome Back to the Cyberclean Blog!

Technology gadgets are very difficult to clean. By their very nature, they can’t be washed with soap and water and with all the buttons and crevices they are very difficult to dust. Studies have shown that the average cellphone and keyboard has more germs than a toilet bowl seat. Yet, how many teens sleep with their cell phone. Now that I’ve thoroughly grossed you out, I have found two very inexpensive cleaning solutions for all your tech gadgets, Cyber Cleanand Speck: CrispView.

Cyber Clean:
Cyber Clean is a yellow gooey gel that you just press onto the area to be cleaned and it will lift all of the dirt and germs from the area. You then just mush the gel around and it is ready to clean again. The dirt and dust are absorbed and microencapsulated in Cyber Clean. It doesn’t stick to your hands and is completely safe. Cyber Clean can be reused many times and you will know when it is time to throw it away when it turns dark green. It is great for cleaning almost anything including keyboards, dashboards, cell phones, fans, hair dryers, computer ports and more.

Between Cyber Clean and Speck: CrispView, you should be able to keep all of your tech gadgets beautifully clean and for under $10. Sorry that I can’t help you with the rest of your house.

Gadgetell Review: CyberClean cleaning compound for electronics 7-19-10

Welcome Back to the Cyberclean Blog!

by Sue Walsh on Jul 19, 2010 at 07:48 PM

I recently received a jar of CyberClean to review and couldn’t wait. CyberClean is bright yellow and looks like the jars of slime popular with kids. However this stuff actually serves a useful purpose. To use, slide it into your hands and knead it for a few seconds. Unless your hands are sweaty it won’t feel slimy at all. Once it’s pliable, simply press it down onto your keyboard and lift. I used it on my husband’s cordless keyboard and my laptop keyboard, both with excellent results. It doesn’t stick or leave any kind of residue and you’ll be amazed at the gunk it pulls out of your keyboard! I had no idea my laptop keyboard was as dirty as it was until I used CyberClean on it. It pulled up a ton of crumbs, dust, and cat hair (I have two!)  It’s a lot easier, safer, and more efficient than using canned air or just turning the keyboard over and tapping it (which is difficult and dangerous for laptops!). CyberClean also claims to kill 99.9% of germs. It can be used on cellphones, remote controls, iPods, and other gadgets and is reusable up to 70 times.  Give it a try and let me know what you think! It’s available at most major retailers for about $8-$10.
